A psychedelic MUSICAL JOURNEY Through Mexico’s natural richness PRODUCED by LOLA VILLA
experience the notion of music by nature
Postcards from Mexico is a one-of-a-kind vinyl record that transcends the traditional music experience. This unique release features tracks from a diverse array of artists, seamlessly intertwined with the sounds of Mexico City’s last living river, recorded by me, Lola Villa, as part of a campaign to raise awareness about the water crisis.
The record also incorporates the natural sounds of birds and jaguars, celebrating Mexico’s rich ecosystems while highlighting the dangers of keeping animals in zoos and cages and by doing so stripping them away from their integrity as animals.
Featuring the work of Lola Villa (Colombia), Timboletti (Germany), Jhonny Posh (Canada), Catalina Pereda (Mexico), Jomi Delgado (Mexico), Brooklyn the Kid (US), Aleyzza (US), Heather Luna (US), Farid Azouri (Lebanon), Zach Cutler (US), Saraab (Syria / Germany).
